Very little remains in terms of documentation of this
performance/installation by Steven Shaw and Nicholas Hohn.
Primarily, the above image and the following, heavily altered,
sound recording are all that's left. Other photos were taken,
but their whereabouts is uncertain.
The following are notes transcribed from the limited edition
cassette with the title listed at the head of this page
that was presumably produced some time in early 1996.

Easter Island Phase II is a manipulated sound recording of
an installation generating performance at 811 Liberty Av-
enue in Pittsburgh, PA. The recording was made in mid-
September 1995. Nicholas J. Hohn plays saxaphone, reads,
and moves objects, Steven R. Shaw plays guitar and moves
objects .
